film studios
Where movies happen
Film studios are companies that produce motion pictures, and by extension, the physical facilities where movies are made—soundstages, backlots, and production offices.
The major Hollywood studios (Warner Bros., Universal, Paramount) function as both production companies and distribution powerhouses.
The film studios are betting big on streaming content.
