rollerbladers

Wheeled pavement gliders

Rollerbladers are people who skate on inline skates—boots with wheels arranged in a single row rather than the two-by-two configuration of traditional roller skates.

The term comes from Rollerblade, a brand that popularized inline skating in the 1980s: Rollerbladers weaved through the crowded boardwalk.
