rewindable

Able to reverse

Rewindable describes media that can be rewound—played backward to an earlier point.

The term emerged with cassette tapes and VCRs, distinguishing recorded content from live broadcasts: The show isn't rewindable unless you're recording it.

With streaming and DVR, most content is now rewindable by default, making the term less necessary.
