resaddling
Replacing horse's seat
Resaddling is the act of putting a saddle back on a horse or other animal after it has been removed, whether for rest, adjustment, or to switch riders.
The term applies literally in equestrian contexts but can extend figuratively to mean preparing again for a task or burden one had temporarily set aside.
After the lunch break, the trail guide spent ten minutes resaddling the horses.
