Double-breasted seaman's coat
Reefer has two unrelated meanings.
The older is a close-fitting jacket worn by sailors, named for the reef knot used to secure sails.
The more common meaning today is slang for a marijuana cigarette: We smoked a reefer on the back porch.
A reefer is also a refrigerated truck or shipping container.
