Hashish is a concentrated form of cannabis made from compressed resin of the marijuana plant.
It contains higher concentrations of THC than regular marijuana and is typically smoked or eaten.
The word comes from Arabic; the related word *assassin* derives from legends about medieval killers who used the drug.
