A rally point is a designated location where people gather after dispersing or in an emergency.
Military units use rally points to regroup after combat or if separated: If we get ambushed, head to the rally point.
The term extends to any predetermined meeting spot—families establish rally points for fire evacuations, protesters for demonstrations.
In video games, it's where newly spawned units automatically move.
