protesting

Marching against something

Protesting is expressing strong objection or disapproval.

People protest government policies, corporate practices, or social injustices—often publicly through demonstrations, marches, or signs.

The word can also mean asserting something emphatically: She left the party protesting her innocence.

Someone protesting too much may reveal the opposite of what they claim.
