plant cells
Photosynthesis building blocks
Plant cells are the basic structural units of plants, distinguished from animal cells by their rigid cell walls, chloroplasts for photosynthesis, and large central vacuoles.
These features allow plants to maintain their shape without skeletons and convert sunlight into energy.
Under the microscope, the plant cells showed clearly defined walls.
