pinups
Locker room decoration
Pinups are pictures of attractive people, typically in provocative poses, designed to be displayed on walls.
The term emerged from the practice of pinning such images to barracks walls or inside lockers.
A pinup can also be the person depicted: She was a famous pinup during World War II.
The style suggests glamorous, suggestive but not explicit imagery—more tease than reveal.
