pinup girl
Glamorous wall adornment
A pinup girl is a woman whose photograph or illustration is meant for display, typically in poses emphasizing physical attractiveness.
The term dates from the mid-20th century when such images were literally pinned up on walls, especially by soldiers.
He had a pinup girl calendar in his garage.
The style suggests retro glamour—playful, flirtatious, often in vintage clothing or swimwear.
