pass/fail

All or nothing

Pass/fail is a grading system in which students receive one of only two marks: passing or failing, with no letter grades or percentages to distinguish levels of achievement.

Courses taken pass/fail don't affect a student's GPA, which makes the option attractive for students exploring subjects outside their major or managing heavy course loads.

I'm taking astronomy pass/fail so I can focus on my required classes.
