dorm room
Shared college housing
A dorm room is a bedroom in a college or university residence hall, typically small and shared with one or more roommates.
The term evokes the cramped, institutional living spaces of undergraduate life: My freshman dorm room barely fit two beds and two desks.
Often shortened to just dorm.
