oversteer

Rear end swings

Oversteer is a driving condition where a vehicle's rear end swings outward during a turn, causing the car to rotate more sharply than the driver intended.

The opposite of understeer, it can lead to spinouts if uncorrected: The car oversteered through the corner and nearly went off the track.

Race drivers sometimes induce controlled oversteer to drift through turns.
