stability control
Anti-slide car system
Stability control is an automated system in vehicles that detects and reduces loss of traction.
When sensors identify skidding or sliding, the system automatically applies brakes to individual wheels or reduces engine power to help the driver maintain control.
Also called electronic stability control or ESC: Stability control kicked in when I hit the ice patch.
