understeering
Nose pushes wide
Understeering describes a vehicle's tendency to turn less sharply than the driver intends, with the front wheels losing traction and the car drifting wide of the intended path.
It's the opposite of oversteering, where the rear end swings out.
The car was understeering badly in the wet corners.
Common in front-wheel-drive vehicles under hard acceleration through turns.
