oversteered
Lost rear traction
Oversteered is the past tense of oversteer, a driving term for when a vehicle's rear wheels lose traction during a turn, causing the back end to swing outward.
The car rotates more than the driver intended: He oversteered coming out of the corner and spun into the wall.
The opposite is understeered.
