oceanariums
Huge saltwater aquariums
Oceanariums are large aquariums designed to house marine animals—dolphins, whales, sea lions, and other ocean life—for public display and study.
The word combines ocean with aquarium.
Unlike smaller aquariums focused on fish, oceanariums typically feature marine mammals and often include performance shows: The oceanarium's dolphin show drew crowds all summer.
