novelisations
Stories from films
Novelisations is the British spelling of novelizations, referring to novels adapted from other media such as films, television series, or video games.
These books retell stories originally created for screen or other formats, often expanding on scenes or adding character depth that the original medium couldn't include.
The Star Wars novelisations came out before the films in some countries.
The practice allows fans to revisit favorite stories in a different form.
