completists

Must-have-everything collectors

Completists are collectors or fans driven to acquire every item in a set or category—every album by an artist, every issue of a comic series, every variant edition.

The term carries a hint of obsessiveness: This deluxe box set is for completists only.

A completist pursues comprehensiveness for its own sake, even when individual items have little standalone value.
