nonbreathable
Won't let air
Nonbreathable describes materials that don't allow air or moisture to pass through.
A nonbreathable fabric traps sweat against the skin, causing discomfort during exertion.
The term applies to protective gear, packaging, or any barrier designed to seal out—or unfortunately seal in—air and vapor: The cheap rain jacket was completely nonbreathable.
