monoskier
Single-board snow slider
A monoskier is someone who rides a monoski—a single wide ski with bindings for both feet, positioned side by side rather than in line.
The sport emerged in the 1980s as an alternative to traditional skiing: The monoskier carved wide turns down the slope.
Monoskiing requires different technique than conventional skiing, with both legs working as a unit.
