menorahs

Festival of lights

Menorahs is the plural of menorah, a candelabrum used in Jewish worship.

The ancient Temple menorah had seven branches.

The Hanukkah menorah (also called a hanukkiah) has nine branches—one for each night of the festival plus a helper candle to light the others: The children placed their menorahs in the window.
