Christmas cards
Seasonal paper greetings
Christmas cards are greeting cards sent during the Christmas season, typically featuring winter imagery, religious scenes, or festive designs.
The tradition involves mailing cards to friends, family, and acquaintances as a seasonal gesture of goodwill: We spent the evening addressing Christmas cards.
For many households, sending and displaying Christmas cards is an annual ritual, though the practice has declined with digital communication.
