LED displays
Glowing pixel panels
LED displays are screens that use light-emitting diodes to produce images.
The term covers everything from massive stadium screens to the small panels on appliances showing time or settings.
Unlike LCD screens, which use LEDs only for backlighting, true LED displays create images directly with diode arrays: The concert featured enormous LED displays behind the stage.
