megalomanias

Delusions of grandeur

Megalomanias is the plural of megalomania, the delusional belief in one's own power, importance, or superiority.

The word describes both a clinical condition and, more commonly, ordinary grandiosity taken to extremes: The megalomanias of various dictators have shaped modern history.

Someone might speak of multiple megalomanias when comparing different instances or varieties of such grandiose self-regard.
