meeting minutes
Official discussion record
Meeting minutes are a written record of what occurred during a formal meeting—topics discussed, decisions made, votes taken, actions assigned.
The term uses minute in its sense of small detail, not time.
Minutes serve as official documentation for organizations, committees, and corporate boards: The secretary read the minutes from last month's meeting.
Also called simply minutes.
