minute hand
Clock's longer arm
The minute hand is the longer of the two main hands on an analog clock or watch, indicating minutes past the hour.
It completes one full rotation every sixty minutes, while the shorter hour hand moves twelve times more slowly.
The minute hand crept toward twelve as we waited for the bell.
