matador
Arena's final swordsman
A matador is the principal bullfighter in a Spanish-style bullfight, the one who faces the bull in the final act and delivers the killing thrust.
The word comes from Spanish for "killer." Matadors wear distinctive embroidered costumes called trajes de luces (suits of lights) and work with a red cape: The matador executed a perfect veronica as the bull charged past.
