matadores

They face bulls

Matadores is the plural of matador, the bullfighter who performs the final act of killing the bull.

The word is Spanish for "killer." In bullfighting, matadores are distinguished from other participants—the matador alone delivers the fatal sword thrust after a ritualized sequence of passes with the cape: The matadores paraded into the ring in their ornate suits of lights.
