bull pen
Relief pitcher area
A bull pen is an enclosure for bulls on a farm or ranch.
In baseball, the bullpen is the area where relief pitchers warm up during a game, and by extension refers to the relief pitchers themselves: Their bullpen blew the lead in the eighth inning.
The term also describes any holding area or large open workspace where people are grouped together: The interns worked in a bullpen near the back of the office.
