superheated steam
Extremely hot vapor
Superheated steam is water vapor that has been heated beyond its boiling point at a given pressure, so it contains no liquid droplets and behaves more like a gas.
Unlike saturated steam, which exists at the boundary between liquid and vapor, superheated steam can absorb additional heat without condensing, making it valuable in power generation and industrial processes.
The turbines run on superheated steam at over 500 degrees Celsius.
