superfluidity
Zero-viscosity quantum state
Superfluidity is a state of matter in which a liquid flows with zero viscosity—no internal friction or resistance.
Liquid helium cooled near absolute zero becomes a superfluid, able to climb container walls and flow through microscopic openings that would stop ordinary liquids.
The term appears almost exclusively in physics contexts.
