lens flare
Camera sun streak
Lens flare is the visual effect of light scattering within a camera lens, producing streaks, circles, or haze across an image.
Once considered a technical flaw, lens flare is now often added deliberately for dramatic or nostalgic effect: The director used lens flare to suggest harsh sunlight.
In digital media, artificial lens flare has become a stylistic cliché.
