Ownership record book
A land register is an official record of property ownership maintained by a government authority.
It documents who owns each parcel of land, along with boundaries, mortgages, easements, and other encumbrances.
In many countries, registration in the land register establishes legal title: The sale isn't complete until it's recorded in the land register.
