known universe
All detected space
The known universe is all of space that humans have observed or can theoretically observe—everything within the cosmic horizon from which light has had time to reach us since the Big Bang.
The phrase often appears in hyperbolic expressions emphasizing totality or extremity: the best coffee in the known universe, searched the known universe for an answer.
It implicitly acknowledges that reality may extend beyond what we can detect.
