supermassive
Beyond merely massive
Supermassive describes something of extraordinary mass, far exceeding normal scale.
The word appears almost exclusively in astronomy, where a supermassive black hole contains millions to billions of solar masses: The supermassive black hole at the center of our galaxy.
Outside technical contexts, supermassive serves as emphatic hyperbole for anything impressively large.
