junking
Getting rid of
Junking is the act of discarding or throwing away as worthless: We're junking the old couch.
It can also mean dismantling something for salvageable parts: They make money junking old cars.
Informally, junking describes searching through thrift stores or flea markets for secondhand finds: I spent Saturday junking with my sister.
