intrapreneurship
Corporate startup mindset
Intrapreneurship is entrepreneurial activity within an existing organization—developing new products, services, or initiatives while employed by a company rather than starting one's own.
The intrapreneur takes risks and innovates but uses corporate resources instead of personal capital: The company's intrapreneurship program lets employees pitch ideas and lead new ventures.
The concept emerged in management theory to describe how large organizations can foster startup-like innovation internally.
