in-line skating
Rolling on blades
In-line skating is the activity of moving on skates with wheels arranged in a single row, as opposed to the paired arrangement of traditional roller skates.
The design allows for speed and maneuverability closer to ice skating.
In-line skating emerged as both recreation and sport in the late twentieth century: We went in-line skating along the boardwalk.
