importation
Foreign goods arrival
Importation is the act of bringing goods into a country from abroad, or the goods themselves: The importation of exotic animals is heavily regulated.
It's the formal noun form of import, appearing more often in legal, commercial, and regulatory contexts than in everyday speech.
Importation can also refer to introducing something from outside: the importation of foreign ideas.
