airfreight
Flying cargo service
Airfreight is cargo transported by aircraft, or the system of shipping goods by air.
As a verb, to airfreight something is to send it by plane: We airfreighted the samples to the client overnight.
The term emphasizes speed over economy—airfreight costs more than shipping by sea or ground but arrives faster.
