huntmaster
Leads the hounds
A huntmaster is the person who organizes and leads a hunt, particularly a traditional foxhunt with hounds.
The huntmaster controls the hounds, directs the riders, and makes decisions about where the hunt goes and when it ends.
The term also appears in fantasy games and literature to describe characters who lead hunting parties or command beasts.
The huntmaster sounded the horn to call back the hounds.
