haberdashery
Men's accessories shop
Haberdashery is a shop selling men's clothing accessories—ties, hats, shirts, gloves—or the goods themselves.
In British usage, haberdashery means sewing supplies: needles, thread, buttons, ribbons.
A haberdasher runs such a shop.
The word has an old-fashioned ring; most people now just say menswear or notions: The old haberdashery on Main Street closed years ago.
