gravity gun

Object-flinging device

A gravity gun is a fictional weapon in video games that manipulates gravity or physics to move objects—pulling them toward the user or launching them as projectiles.

The term originated with the game Half-Life 2, where players use it to grab debris and hurl it at enemies.

Similar weapons in other games inherit the name: I used the gravity gun to throw a barrel at him.
