digipak
Plastic-free disc case
A digipak is a type of CD or DVD packaging made from cardboard with a plastic tray to hold the disc, as opposed to the standard plastic jewel case.
Digipaks often feature gatefold designs with panels for artwork and liner notes: The deluxe edition comes in a digipak with a booklet.
They're popular for special editions and are considered more environmentally friendly than plastic cases.
