CD case
Album sleeve alternative
A CD case is the plastic container that holds a compact disc, typically a hinged box with a clear front panel showing the album art and a back panel listing track information.
The standard "jewel case" has a removable tray that grips the disc's center hole.
I cracked the CD case trying to open it.
Slimmer versions exist for singles or multi-disc sets.
