Foldable military headwear
A flight cap is a soft, foldable military cap with a lengthwise crease down the center, designed to be tucked under a belt or into a pocket when not worn.
Also called a garrison cap or overseas cap, it became standard issue in many armed forces during the twentieth century: He adjusted his flight cap before stepping onto the tarmac.
