flat caps
Low-profile brimmed hat
Flat caps are soft, rounded caps with a small stiff brim in front, traditionally made of wool or tweed.
Associated with working-class British and Irish men through the early twentieth century, they've cycled back as fashionable accessories: He wore a flat cap with his weekend tweeds.
Also called newsboy caps or driving caps.
