Peaky Blinders
Postwar British mobsters
Peaky Blinders is a British television drama series set in 1920s Birmingham, following a crime family of the same name.
The historical Peaky Blinders were a late 19th-century street gang, supposedly named for razor blades sewn into the peaks of their caps.
The show has popularized a distinctive aesthetic—newsboy caps, three-piece suits, and severe haircuts: He's going for that Peaky Blinders look.
